TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will round things out once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
